Contracts
Contracts you can read, and contracts we’ll read for you
We write the agreements you send out, and we read the ones sent to you. Either way you get the document back marked up, with a note on each change and why.
Customer terms
Terms of service, master service agreements and quotes that say when you get paid and what you’re not on the hook for.
Supplier and vendor agreements
Delivery, defects, price changes and who carries the risk while the goods are on the truck.
Storefront and office leases
Rent escalations, repairs, personal guarantees and the exit, before you sign for ten years of a storefront.
NDAs and non-solicits
Short and enforceable, rather than long and ignored.
Contract reviews
Send us theirs. We mark what to accept, what to ask for and what to walk away from.
Templates you reuse
One set of documents your team can send without calling us every time.
Questions owners ask about contracts
How fast can you review a contract?
Tell us the deadline on the first call. Most short agreements come back within three business days; we’ll say up front if yours can’t.
The other side says it’s their standard form. Can we still change it?
Usually. Standard means it’s their starting point. We’ll tell you which asks are normal and which ones might cost you the deal.
Do you only work with Ohio companies?
We’re admitted in Ohio and work with companies based here. If your deal involves another state, we’ll say so and help you find local counsel there.
Send us the contract before you sign it
Book a call, then send the document. We’ll quote the review before we start.
A first call doesn’t make us your lawyers; a signed engagement letter does.
