Mirko started the firm after a decade trying business cases, to give owner-run companies the lawyer he kept meeting too late.
Before Zupancic Szabo, Mirko tried contract and partnership cases for a downtown firm. Most of them started with a document nobody had read closely. He opened this firm to get to owners before that point.
He runs the outside counsel plans, handles every dispute the firm takes on, and gives the ten-minute talks.

Mirko grew up in Collinwood, above his parents’ hardware store, which is where he first saw what a bad supplier contract costs a family business.
He coaches a youth soccer team in Euclid on Saturdays.
